LPN – Geriatric / Long Term Care

Location: Tucson, AZ 85713
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 37 Weeks
Shift: Day | 6:00 AM–6:30 PM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Weekend block scheduling required
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Not Accepted

Pay Rate:
Local: $35–$40/hr

Required Qualifications:

• Active Arizona LPN License

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Experience in Geriatric, LTC, SNF, or Nursing Home settings

• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Availability for weekend block scheduling

• Required onboarding documentation, including TB, Hep B, COVID, Food Handler, OIG/SAM, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and physician-ordered treatments

• Provide wound, tracheostomy, gastrostomy, and catheter care

• Complete admission assessments and monitor resident conditions

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Supervise CNAs and support staff when assigned as Charge Nurse

• Document resident care accurately

• Communicate changes in resident condition to the RN and care team

• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards

• Participate in quality-improvement activities
