Willis Knighton Bossier 3 North, a med/surg/telemetry floor, is looking for a motivated, organized LPNwith exceptional assessment and communication skills.Do you want to improve your organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking skills?Working on a med/surg/telemetry floor will give you this opportunity.Prior hospital nursing experience is recommended, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. This is your opportunity to obtain experience and increase your knowledge, which can help prepare you ifyou decide to further your career in nursing. The average nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, with the assistance of a nurse aide.The patient population is a mixture of medical, surgical, and cardiac. Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: delegation of appropriate tasks to ancillary staff, comprehensive assessments and documentation, communicating with physicians and case manager, patient education, and accurate medication administration. All LPNsreceive a comprehensive hospital and unit-specific orientation where they are provided 1:1 nursing instruction with a preceptor. A sign-on bonus is offered for a 2-year ($8,000)agreement.
