Responsibilities of the LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

As the backbone of our clinical care, your role includes:

• Clinical Excellence: Administer medications and treatments while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.

• Physician Liaison: Transcribe orders accurately and coordinate with pharmacies for medication availability.

• Acute Monitoring: Record vital signs and identify changes in resident conditions or medication side effects.

• Advanced Care: Perform wound care, dressing changes, and lab sample collection as a vital LPN Licensed Practical Nurse.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed, real-time electronic charts in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Family Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for families, providing updates and care instructions.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted LPN Licensed Practical Nurse license in Illinois.

• Experience: Skilled nursing or rehab experience is preferred, but passionate new graduates are welcome.

• Skills: Strong clinical judgment and the ability to remain decisive in a fast-paced environment.
