LPN – Resident Health / Primary Care

Full-Time | 64 Hours Bi-Weekly

Pennswood Village, a senior living community in Newtown, PA, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our health care team.

This is a unique nursing role that combines support in our Resident Health Office with nursing care provided to residents in their private apartments throughout our campus. The LPN works closely with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and support the health and well-being of our residents.

The Position

As an LPN on our Resident Health team, you will:

• Provide nursing care and health assessments to residents
• Support physicians and the Resident Health Office in coordinating resident care
• Administer medications and perform clinical nursing procedures
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized plans of care
• Document care and communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other members of the care team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current Pennsylvania LPN license
• Experience working with older adults preferred
