Schedule
- Variable Night Shift
- 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36/48 Hours Weekly
- Rotating Schedule with Every Other Weekend Required
- 33 Hours One Week / 44 Hours Following Week
- Overtime May Be Available
- 1 Hour Break Per Shift

Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an 8-week contract assignment in a Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing environment in Bismarck, ND.
This role is ideal for LPNs comfortable caring for residents with higher-acuity needs including tracheostomies, ventilators, tube feeds, wound care, and rehabilitation support. The facility provides flexible orientation and a supportive clinical environment.
Unit Details
- LTC and Skilled Nursing Units
- LTAC unit with trachs, vents, PEG tubes, and rehab patients
- Stable vent and trach residents
- Tube feed and wound care patients
- Medication Aides available for support
- Night Shift Ratio: Approximately 1:24 – 1:28
- Matrix Charting System utilized
- Units referred to as “Neighborhoods”
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTC and Skilled Nursing residents
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor and document resident conditions and responses to treatment
- Provide trach and vent care as needed
- Perform wound care and tube feed management
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and charting
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and quality care standards
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN License required
- Previous LTC or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable caring for trach, vent, tube feed, and wound care residents
- Ability to work rotating night schedules
- Must be willing to work every other weekend
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
