IV Certification preferred but not required.

Nurse Ratio for nights: 1:24 - 1:28 THEY ARE 33 ONE WEEK 44 THE NEXT BUT OT CAN BE AVAILABLE 1 Hr break required per 12-hour shift
No Name Badges needed here. They use their own. Orientation is short. They generally give a few hours of orientation. The facility is happy to expand on orientation if the traveler feels they need more training. They just need to communicate with the DON or Unit manager.
Unit: LTC; Skilled Unit, LTAC unit with vents/trechs, gtubes, etc They call their units Neighborhoods: One neighborhood that has 3 resident's with trachs and vents (trilogy home vents that are stable).
They are not on the vent 24 hours a day, but all of them are on continuously at night, more as a bipap, but with a tracheostomy. 7am ? 7pm.. There are also rehab patients on this unit and some residents with peg tubes, but the nurse will have a full time medication aid with them for meds and tube feeds.
Set schedule with 33 hours one week and 44 hours the next.
