Position Overview

Western Horizons Care Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in a Long Term Care facility. The LPN will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and work closely with the healthcare team to support residents' health, comfort, and well-being. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced LTC environment.

Contract Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

• Pay Rate: $70 per hour

• Shift: Variable Nights

• Shift Length: 12-Hour Shifts

• Housing: Prime Time Healthcare Provided

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Assist residents with daily activities and ensure comfort and safety

• Follow infection control policies and facility procedures

• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License (North Dakota or Compact License preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of LTC / Skilled Nursing experience preferred

• Current BLS Certification

• Strong patient care and communication skills

• Ability to work night shifts in a long-term care environment
