- Experience or 'Must have' skills: ER experience PREFERRED, understanding of dementia, stroke, skin care geriatric patient care - # of Beds: 25 Critical Access Hospital (rural location) - Nurse:Patient Ratios: team assignment 2 RNS on at all times - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: mostly Geriatric population, general rehab post surgery, - How many years of experience required?: 2 yrs - Previous Travel experience required?: no - EMR: EPIC - Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Yes - Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Team assignment, not individual assignments - Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: 2 RNs, Nurse Aides / CNA on each shift - RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Patient managed CPAP only - Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit?: telemonitor capacity, no techs - Shifts & Scheduling Details: 12 hours - Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?: Yes - Weekend Requirement: every other - Holiday Requirement: alternating - Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: no - Floating Requirements: no; LPN will stay on MedSurg floor (unless they want to and have the experience) - Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Scrubs, no specific color - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3 shifts ( one department only)
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
