    • Valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license<\/li>
    • BLS certification<\/li> <\/ul> <\/span>
      Responsibilities: <\/strong>
      <\/span>
      • Deliver direct nursing care to patients, under the guidance of RNs or physicians, encompassing tasks like medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.<\/li>
      • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, involving physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews, to craft personalized care plans.<\/li>
      • Administer prescribed medications and treatments meticulously, guaranteeing accurate dosing and adherence to established protocols.<\/li>
      • Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while actively monitoring for infection or complications.<\/li>
      • Continuously monitor and meticulously document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.<\/li>
      • Maintain detailed and precise patient records, recording changes in their condition, administered treatments, and medication management.<\/li>
      • Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self -care practices, with a focus on overall well -being.<\/li>
      • Administer and closely monitor intravenous (IV) medications and fluids, ensuring proper insertion and functioning of IV lines.<\/li>
      • Provide care for patients with urinary catheters, including insertion, routine maintenance, and diligent monitoring for complications.<\/li>
      • Collect patient samples, such as blood, urine, and sputum, for subsequent laboratory testing and analysis.<\/li>
      • Collaborate closely with the healthcare team, including RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.<\/li>
      • Address patient comfort and safety requirements, including positioning, mobility assistance, and pain management.<\/li>
      • Respond swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols and delivering basic life support as necessary.<\/li>
      • Adhere rigorously to infection control procedures, encompassing proper hand hygiene and utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent infections from spreading.<\/li>
      • Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies, in strict accordance with regulations and guidelines.<\/li>
      • Foster health and wellness by promoting preventive care measures like vaccinations and screenings, and aiding with health assessments.<\/li>
      • Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and support.<\/li>
      • Stay current on nursing best practices, regulations, and advancements through ongoing education and training.<\/li>
      • In certain cases, LPNs may supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs) or unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) to ensure the delivery of high -quality patient care.<\/li>
