Seeking aLPN that provides direct patient care and observation. This includes surgical room turn over between cases, patient admissions and discharge, collections and recording of pertinent clinical data, assisting with the transport of patients, all while under the direction of the Registered Nurse. You will be a valued team player.
What you will do:
Assist with admission, discharge and transfer of your patients
You will facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedure rooms
Utilize your Personal Protective Equipment and appropriately handle the disposal of biohazardous materials/ wastes
Prepare your procedure room for use the following day by setting up
Assist in preparing your operative suite for surgery by checking and gathering supplies, equipment and instruments
Qualifications you will need:
Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
1 year experience in an operating room setting; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
Must be licensed as a LPN in accordance with state regulations
