Qualifications:- Current Illinois LPN License
- Preference is one year school based experience and knowledge of working with pediatrics
Role Overview:The School Based Nurse (LPN) position involves providing dedicated 1:1 care to student during transport to and from afternoon classes. The role focuses on essential nursing tasks such as monitoring/addressing seizures, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks, ensuring the student's health and safety during transportation.
Job Details:- Schedule: full time~ Monday through Friday
- Dates: Immediate need - end of school year
- Hours: approximately 8:25 AM 2:55 PM
- Setting: school
- In-person
Key Responsibilities: - Responsibilities would include g-tube feeding, respiratory issues, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks
- Ensure safety during bus rides to and from school.
- 10 yr old student/4th grader
