• Phlebotomist: $30–$32/hr
• Medical Assistant: $28–$31/hr

7 total home visits per patient, once per month, with a ±7-day flexibility window around each scheduled visit date. First visit expected by the end of July.

About the Organization

Our client is a decentralized clinical trial (DCT) organization redefining how clinical research reaches patients. Rather than requiring patients to travel to a traditional research site, their model brings the research experience directly into patients’ homes—an approach that depends on clinicians who are precise, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field.

The Role

We’re seeking an LPN, Phlebotomist, or Medical Assistant with recent, hands-on experience in blood collection and specimen processing to support home visits in the Mason City, IA area.

This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for a clinician who enjoys independent, one-on-one patient care outside of a traditional clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to perform blood draws and centrifuge/specimen processing according to protocol
• Accurately document all visit findings and maintain required source documentation
• Communicate visit outcomes and any concerns promptly to the study team
• Maintain strict adherence to protocol, patient confidentiality, and safety standards
• Build rapport with patients to support a positive, professional visit experience

What You Bring

• LPN, Phlebotomist, or Medical Assistant certification, based on applicable discipline
• Venipuncture certification
• Minimum of 2 years of current, hands-on experience in blood collection and centrifuge processing
• Comfort working independently in a home-visit setting
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to patient homes
• Clinical research or decentralized trial experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and professional, patient-focused communication skills

Why This Role

This is a meaningful opportunity to put your blood draw expertise to work within a flexible, predictable visit schedule. There are no facility shifts and no weekend rotations—just focused, independent work that fits around your life.

It’s an excellent fit for a clinician who wants variety outside of the traditional bedside or clinic environment.
