Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting during night shifts.

• Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

• Assist in patient education regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Utilize performance metrics to improve patient care and achieve targets.

• Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

• Adapt to changing patient needs and work environment dynamics.

• Engage in self-assessment and seek feedback for personal growth.

Experience/Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in good standing.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.

• Proficiency in monitoring and documenting patient vital signs.

• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

• Experience in administering medications and treatments.

• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills for effective patient and team interaction.

• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work environment.

• Competence in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
