JOB TITLE: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

PAY RATE: $28.50 $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Bel-Air Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to join our nursing team. In these roles, you will deliver direct resident care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure the highest quality of care in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer medications, treatments, and as applicable, IV therapies per physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and assess residents for changes in condition; report findings to the charge nurse, supervisor, or attending physician
• Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheter care, and tube feedings
• Take and document vital signs, intake and output, and other clinical data
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and care plan development
• Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs and support staff (RN)
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate clinical intervention
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA compliance standards

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Connecticut LPN or RN license in good standing (required)
• Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (required)
• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
