Best Home Health Care LLC is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide wound care and basic nursing services for one of our patients in
Leesburg, Florida.
This is a great opportunity for an LPN who
loves what they do, enjoys helping patients, and takes pride in providing quality one-on-one care.
Schedule
Approximately
3 visits per week with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities
The LPN will provide
wound care as ordered and perform basic LPN nursing duties, which may include:
- Wound assessment, cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring
- Taking and documenting vital signs
- Medication assistance/administration as ordered
- Monitoring the patient's condition and reporting changes
- Providing basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice
- Following the patient's Plan of Care and physician's orders
- Completing accurate nursing documentation after each visit
- Communicating with the patient, family, and nursing supervisor as needed
- Maintaining patient safety and following infection-control procedures
Requirements
Applicants must have a
current and valid Florida LPN license and be dependable, professional, compassionate, and comfortable providing wound care and basic nursing services.
