    Description

    The Clinic Nurse provides direct patient care in a clinical setting, supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care. This role includes patient assessment, treatment assistance, education, and clinic operations support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess patients by taking vital signs, medical histories, and documenting symptoms
    • Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
    • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed
    • Perform basic clinical procedures

    • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions

    • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in electronic health systems

    • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to providers promptly

    • Ensure infection control standards and clinic safety protocols are followed

    • Manage clinic supplies, equipment, and medication inventory

    • Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care

    • Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic according to protocol

    Qualifications

    • Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

    • Valid nursing license (RN or LPN/LVN, as applicable)

    • Current CPR/BLS certification

    • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment

    • Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards

    • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

    • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

    Work Environment

    • Outpatient clinic

    • May involve standing for extended periods and assisting patient mobility

    • Permanent Position! Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm!  No On-Call or Weekends!  Great Benefits/Docs!
