What You Will Do:
- Work under the supervision of the Medical Director and Nursing Director, maintaining practical nursing professional standards of care
- Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the Medical Director or Program Physician accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed
- Chart medication administration in nurse's notes accurately and in a timely manner, documenting nursing care provided and maintaining appropriate records related to individuals' progress and activities
- Ensure the safekeeping of all medication stock and associated records required by State, Federal, and DEA guidelines
- Dedicate the majority of scheduled work hours to medication administration activities, with remaining time allocated to other duties as assigned by the Medical Director or Nursing Director
- Conduct urine collection and processing, read test results as ordered by Program Physicians, and complete all associated documentation
- Perform thorough biophysical, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments of individuals in recovery from substance use, recognizing the unique needs of dually diagnosed individuals and special populations
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with members of the health care team, providing care with kindness and sensitivity that preserves individuals' autonomy, dignity, and rights
Who You Are:
- Current Massachusetts Board of Registration license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
- Demonstrates proficiency in applying the nursing process to individuals served and their families
- Able to collaborate with and appropriately delegate to other caregivers
- Knowledgeable in utilization/review standards, quality assurance, and CARF standards
- Able to understand, empathize, and work effectively with an addicted population, including those with co-occurring disorders
- Working knowledge of the ethics and legal parameters of substance use disorder treatment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range: $30.25-$37.50/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:30am-2:00pm and rotating Saturdays, 6:30am-10:30am
