What you'll do: Nurses are responsible for caring for residents who require extended medical care. You will oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies. In your role, you will:

  • Work closely with a dedicated team of nurses, medication aides, caregivers, dietary aides, housekeepers, case managers, and nurse leaders to provide exceptional care.
  • Ensure clinical practices meet high safety and sanitation standards while following professional nursing guidelines.
  • Keep documentation, medication administration, resident care, safety, staff training, quality improvement, and resident rights in line with facility standards.
  • Often provide care for residents with dementia, advanced wound care needs, dialysis, heart failure, and IV medications.

Requirements to be successful:

  • active RN or LPN Kentucky license required
  • 2 years of experience in long-term care setting preferred
  • well-developed clinical skills are essential
  • experience with a team nursing approach
  • consent to a background check and drug screen
