Being a private-practice allows us to provide quality patient care and build a positive environment for our staff.The Women's Healthcare Group (located at Quivira and 435 in Overland Park, KS) is seeking a full-time skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient care team!This individual will be responsible for providing phone triage and medical advice to patients across a range of women's health conditions. This position would be trained in all clinical aspects of the office, including working with our physicians and mid-level providers to provide outstanding care in our busy practice.As a Phone Triage Nurse, you would have set hours of Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00pm & Friday 8:30-4:00pm, allowing for work-life balance (no overnights or weekends!)This position is in-person with the potential for a hybrid schedule based on training progression and the needs of the practice. Hybrid would involve working 5 days a week, with 2-3 days at home and the remaining in our Overland Park, KS office.We offer great benefits:Health Insurance, Dental, and Vision401k Retirement BenefitPaid Time Off (PTO), starting first day of employment!Paid Holidays (including the day after Thanksgiving)Uniform programPredictable schedule, less physical labor, and no nights or weekends. Starting wage range: $20-$25 per hour, with quarterly bonus opportunities!Responsibilities include:Assess patient symptoms and needs over the phoneProvide medical advice based on clinical protocols and guidelinesDocument patient interactions and maintain accurate healthcare records on an electronic health record (EHR)Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of careProvide patient educationMonitor patient follow-ups and adjust care plans as necessaryManage emergency calls and provide immediate guidance for critical situationsNotify patients of test results as instructed by Healthcare ProviderSchedule, and manage patient appointments efficientlyEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAAAdditional duties as directed by Clinical Supervisor Education and Experience:Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license requiredMinimum of 1 year nursing experience in Women's HealthAbility to work independently and make sound clinical judgementsExperience with patient educationStrong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skillsElectronic Medical Records (EMR) experience preferredExcellent time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilitiesBLS Certification The Women's Healthcare Group has been serving our community since 1990.Equal opportunity employer.
