The Role
We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA and the surrounding areas. Our current weekday and weekend needs are primarily for 3p-11p shifts, with night shift opportunities also available for 11p-7:30a. Facility needs change regularly, so specific shifts, hours, and schedules are not guaranteed.

- Licensure: Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in Pennsylvania.
- Certification: Valid CPR/BLS Certification. Must be hands-on training and meet AHA Guidelines.
- Health Requirements: Must provide Physician/CRNP-signed physical completed within the past 12 months stating that you are free from communicable diseases and cleared to perform job duties; current 2-Step TB documentation completed within the past 12 months, or a current 1-Step TB with proper documentation of a previous 2-Step TB.
- Background: Must be able to pass a Pennsylvania Criminal History Background Check. Applicants who have not lived continuously in Pennsylvania for the past two years must complete and pay for the required FBI fingerprint-based background check.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and communication regarding scheduled shifts.
- Skills: Strong communication, sound judgment, attention to resident safety, and the ability to follow care plans and facility procedures.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience preferred.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Nursing Oversight: Supervise nursing personnel and coordinate care delivery to meet patient needs within the scope of the Practical Nurse Act of Pennsylvania.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications, injections, and wound care dressings according to provider orders and facility policies.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Observe, evaluate, and immediately report changes in patient symptoms, conditions, or reactions to treatments.
- Team Support: Assist the healthcare team with treatment plans, health checks, and basic diagnostic tests.
- Communication: Liaison between patients, families, and the wider healthcare team to ensure a thorough understanding of treatment plans.

Location & Pay
- Location: Pittsburgh, PA
- Pay Range: $37.00- $40.00 per hour, depending on facility and shift
- Shift: Evening (3p-11p) & Night (11p-7a)
