An anticipated vacancy for a Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse/BSN currently exists within the Student Services division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. The position will be located at the Child & Career Development Center- Great Valley campus in Malvern, PA. This position is slated to begin in August of 2026.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer tube feedings.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor on a daily basis.
• Documentation of prescription medication administration to students in electronic medical system.
• Implement seizure precautions and treatments.
• Attend field trips and community-based trips.
• Provide tracheostomy care and, if needed, replacement of tracheostomy tube.
• Support with toileting routines in the nurse's office.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Implement nursing care plans as prescribed.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required OR RN program completed OR LPN program completed
• Current registered nurse or licensed practical nurse licensure required.
• Experience working with special needs children preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required (must be dated within one year of hire date).

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day; 185 days per year

Salary:

• LPN Rates: Support Hay, Level 11: $24.82 - 32.90/hr.
• RN Rates: Support Hay, Level 13: $31.35 - $41.55/hr.
• BSN Rates: Support Hay, Level 14: $34.88 - $46.23/hr.
