LPN – Behavioral Health

Schedule: 24 hours/week with opportunity to pick up additional shifts
Required: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Shifts: 2nd Shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM) or 3rd Shift (12:15 AM–8:15 AM)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments under the direction of authorized medical providers.
• Conduct patient and risk assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and monitor patients' mental health status.
• Provide wound care and document nursing interventions and patient records.
• Utilize therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with physical restraints when necessary.
• Maintain controlled medication records, medications, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Delegate nursing tasks according to established protocols.
• Participate in training, rehabilitation, and psychotherapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• May serve as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP).
