We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for a private duty home care case in Mertztown, PA. This position involves providing skilled nursing care and hands-on support for a patient with ongoing respiratory and personal care needs in the home setting.
Responsibilities:
Monitor oxygen levels and respiratory status
Administer breathing treatments and prescribed medications
Provide skilled nursing assessments and ongoing patient monitoring
Assist with turning and repositioning to maintain comfort and prevent skin breakdown
Monitor and maintain skin integrity
Provide incontinence care as needed, including changing briefs and ensuring clean bedding
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and patient status
Communicate changes in condition to the appropriate parties
Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania LPN or RN license
Experience with respiratory care and oxygen monitoring preferred
Comfortable providing total care and hands-on assistance in a home setting
Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to patient needs
Current CPR certification preferred
Schedule:
Friday through Sunday
3:00 PM 11:00 PM
