    Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

    Position Overview:
    • Jacksonville Treatment Center is an outpatient medicated assisted treatment program offering substance abuse treatment to individuals with a substance use disorder of opiates.
    • The Treatment Centers provide a caring and therapeutic environment.
    • Certified substance abuse counselors, licensed nurses, and a physician are on staff to deliver the best of care.
    • The mission of our treatment programs is to provide opportunities for patients to explore change and strengthen themselves so they can lead healthy and productive lives.

    We are searching for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse dedicated to the mission.

    Qualification Requirements:
    • A registered Nursing License or Licensed Practical Nursing License is required from an accredited school.
    • Valid NC nursing license.
    • Ability to work independently as well as with the treatment team.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law.
    • CPR/First Aid.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
    • Administer medications based on medical orders.
    • Maintain management of medication inventory.
    • Assist Medical Director in crisis interventions.
    • Monitors the demeanor of the patients in the phase of induction of the medication and during all medication administration.
    • Identifies and reports any critical incidents to the Medical Director.
    • Observe urine drug screens, as needed.
    • Follow state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs.

    Job Details:
    • Job Type: Full Time.
    • Physical Setting: Outpatient.
    • Standard Shift: Day shift.
    • Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 5:30 am-12:30 pm Saturday 6:30 a.m-9:00 a.m.
    • The schedule can be flexible and discussed during the interview.

    License/Certification:
    • BLS Certification (Preferred).
    • RN (Required).
    • LPN (Required).
