LPN/RN – Private Duty Skilled Nursing | Upper Arlington, OH

Starting Pay: $31/hour


BrightStar Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a private-duty patient in Upper Arlington, OH.


This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy building meaningful relationships with patients while providing high-quality care in a home setting.


Schedule

• 12-hour shifts available
  • Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every shift available
• Flexible scheduling

Patient Care Responsibilities


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and provide daily care for G-tube site
• Administer medications via G-tube as ordered
• Perform tracheostomy suctioning as needed
• Monitor respiratory status and report concerns
• Obtain vital signs and complete pain assessments
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments each shift
• Assist with personal hygiene, oral care, and skin integrity monitoring
• Assist with dressing, transfers, and repositioning
• Communicate changes in patient condition with the family and healthcare provider
• Follow the established physician Plan of Care (485)

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN or RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with tracheostomy and G-tube care preferred (training may be available for qualified candidates)
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to work independently in a home setting
