Full Description:
Thomas Podiatry & Associates, A division of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking a friendly Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to make a difference in patient care every day! You’ll work side by side with physicians, assist with minor in-office procedures, and provide both clinical and administrative support to keep the practice running smoothly.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Greet and prepare patients for exams; record vitals, medical history, and medications
Assist with procedures (injections, wound care, wart removal, nail care, P&A procedures)
Support minor surgeries: prep, assist physician, and post-op follow-up
Apply dressings, DME, and medical strappings; dispense equipment as needed
Perform and prep digital X-rays and lab specimens
Manage EMR updates, insurance verifications, and prescription requests
Educate patients on post-care instructions and provide follow-up calls
Keep exam rooms and surgical packs stocked, clean, and sterile
Required Skills and Experience:
Active LPN license (required)
Completion of an accredited LPN program OR 1+ year clinical experience
Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills
Familiar with HIPAA, EMRs, and medical terminology
Willingness to travel between local office locations
