LPN (SHIFTS VARY/INCLUDES WEEKENDS)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess, plan, and implement care for individual patients.
• Maintain patient flow taking them to and from exam rooms.
• Record patient data before each visit; vitals, height, weight, allergies, medication, and reason for the visit.
• Administer subcutaneous, intramuscular injections and IV therapy.
• Assist providers with patient examinations.
• Clean/sterilize exam or procedure room and instruments.
• Schedule patient rests, procedures, hospital admission, and appointment follow-ups.
• Compile information and prepare reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED and graduate of an approved school of nursing.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting desired but not required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Valid license to practice in the state of employment and current CPR certification required.
• IV Certification is desired.
