Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | Must be on call one weekend per month

Job Summary

Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a well-established specialty medical practice in Tulsa. This position offers a combination of direct patient care and administrative responsibilities in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting while delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms while maintaining efficient patient flow.
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Assist providers during examinations, in-office procedures, and treatments.
• Administer injections and perform basic clinical procedures within the LPN scope of practice.
• Obtain insurance prior authorizations and precertifications for procedures, surgeries, and medications.
• Schedule surgeries, referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments.
• Triage incoming patient calls and communicate effectively with providers regarding patient concerns.
• Prepare, clean, and stock exam and procedure rooms while maintaining OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient daily operations.
• Participate in the clinic's after-hours on-call rotation.

On-Call Requirement

This position requires participation in the on-call rotation, which includes:

• One weekday on-call rotation per month, and
• One weekend on-call rotation per month.

Additional compensation is provided for all on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a physician office, specialty clinic, or comparable healthcare setting.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to providing outstanding patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
