JOB SUMMARY:

Perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease. Support both administrative and clinical functions as needed, including patient registration and medical assisting duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and guide patients through procedures with compassion and professionalism
Position patients accurately for imaging procedures
Adhere to ALARA radiation protection standards
Process and review images for quality and identification, preparing them for physician and radiologist review
Operate both digital and non-digital imaging equipment in compliance with established techniques, policies, and procedures
Assist providers with prescribed treatments in accordance with approved standards and protocols
Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate necessary repairs
Complete and maintain forms, records, logs, and reports of work performed
Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed within appropriate guidelines
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience/training
ARRT-registered or board-eligible preferred
State licensure required; in some states, Medical Assistant Certification, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification may be acceptable

COMPENSATION:

$28.00 – $36.00 per hour
