LSRT RT X-Ray Technologist
Thornton, CO or Lakewood, CO

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Perform radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease. Support both administrative and clinical functions as needed, including patient registration and medical assisting duties
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and guide patients through procedures with compassion and professionalism
  • Position patients accurately for imaging procedures
  • Adhere to ALARA radiation protection standards
  • Process and review images for quality and identification, preparing them for physician and radiologist review
  • Operate both digital and non-digital imaging equipment in compliance with established techniques, policies, and procedures
  • Assist providers with prescribed treatments in accordance with approved standards and protocols
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate necessary repairs
  • Complete and maintain forms, records, logs, and reports of work performed
  • Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant as needed within appropriate guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience/training
  • ARRT-registered or board-eligible preferred
  • State licensure required; in some states, Medical Assistant Certification, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification may be acceptable
 
COMPENSATION:
  • $28.00 – $36.00 per hour
