lT Administrator - Radford, VA

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or engineering or related field, OR must have an Associate's degree in computer science, information technology or engineering with CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification or 2-5 years' proven experience as an IT Administrator or relevant position. -Must have experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Azure administration. -Must have knowledge of Microsoft licensing. -Must possess good knowledge of managing security groups. -Mobile Data Management administration experience preferred. -SQL Database management / administration experience preferred. -Sage 300 or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience preferred. -Experience in Cybersecurity mitigation preferred. -Experience with Firewall administration preferred. -Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-171 and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) preferred. -Amazon Web Service administration preferred. -Must possess excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. -Good planning, time management and organization skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. -In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks. -Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles. -Good working knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations. -A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture. -Must be able to receive clearance from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). -Must possess valid state driver's license. -Must have ability to interact with contractors to verify systems are installed and operating properly. -Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. -Good planning, time management and organization skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. -Must have ability to travel to company locations in Bellport, NY or Delanson, NY if needed. -Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. -Good communication, including writing, speaking and active listening. -Must be capable of working productively with minimal supervision. -Must possess customer service and interpersonal skills. -Excellent attention to detail. -Be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language. -Be able to work overtime as required. JOB DUTIES: -Provide technical support to analyze and resolve IT problems or assist workers in solving work problems at Radford and Dublin VA, Delanson and Bellport NY. (This may be in person or remote.) -Serves as Administrator for Microsoft 365 environment in both Commercial and Government clouds, Microsoft Active Directory in an AWS environment and Local Area Network / Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) and Wi-Fi. -Support Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone systems. -Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. -Maintain and support Enterprise Resource Planning systems/software. -Assist in installing, configuring, and supporting company owned computers, tablets, mobile phones, bar code scanners and printers. -Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment. -Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work. -Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.). -Assist and train staff on software and IT equipment, help the IT Manager to develop the infrastructure of the environment, order equipment from suppliers, etc. -Assists Training Department in the development and delivery of IT training. -Research and tests out new technology as needed. -Must be committed to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk-based thinking methodologies in relation to IT. -Shares accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System in relation to IT. -Establishes and maintains a positive human relations climate utilizing good communication practices. -Participates in Yearly Management Review of all ISO documentation as scheduled. -Demonstrates commitment to prevent all types of unlawful workplace harassment and ensure all employees are treated fairly and equitably without discrimination. -Participate in on-going training and education as directed by the IT Manager. -Obey all Company work and safety rules. -Perform all other duties as directed by the IT Manager. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: -Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, push, pull, walk, and move about the plant facilities throughout an 8-12 hour period. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use fine motor skills to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls with hands and fingers; and gross motor skills with hands and arms. -Must be able to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
