Shift Details:

• 
  CNAs will be scheduled to work four 12-hour shifts per week, either day shift (6:45 am – 7:15 pm) or night shift (6:45 pm – 7:15 am). This may include weekend and holiday coverage.
  

Certified Nursing Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide basic nursing care and support (VS, hygiene, ambulation, transfers)
  
• 
  Documentation of patient location, status, activities
  
• 
  Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital
  
• 
  Assist in keeping patient common areas clean
  
• 
  Contributes to patient/staff safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations · Initiates corrective action as appropriate
  
• 
  Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating changes in patients’ conditions
  
• 
  Complies with FSH infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  
• 
  Demonstrates procedural competencies for assigned tasks
  
• 
  Complies with all FSH/DMH policies and procedures 
  
• 
  Other duties as assigned
  

Minimum Qualifications 

• 
  Current, valid, and unrestricted MO license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year/s of recent experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  
• 
  Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
  
• 
  Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents
