Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of MS
- INCLUDES ACTIVE RN/LPN/CNA LICENSE, BACKGROUND CHECK WITHIN 2 YEARS (FELONY CONVICTIONS PROHIBIT EMPLOYMENT), OIG EXCLUSION SEARCH, TB TESTING UP TO DATE (WITHIN 12 MONTHS), UP TO DATE CPR CERTIFICATION, DRIVER'S LICENSE/SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, COVID VACCINATION RECORD (NOT MANDAROTY, BUT ENCOURAGED).
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
- Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history
- Update and maintain all client records
- Assist nurse in maintaining medical inventory
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
