LTC Pharmacist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

LTC Pharmacist Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with alternating weekends

LTC Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and appropriateness
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
• Provide clinical services and patient education on medical devices
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as required
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain proper inventory of medications and supplies
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues

LTC Pharmacist Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania LTC Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and medication safety
• Ability to supervise staff and work in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

LTC Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications

• Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience
• Experience with AS400 operating system
• Sterile compounding experience
