Position: LTL Pricing Analyst
Location: Indianapolis, IN will consider Birmingham, Mansfield, TX, remote, or relo to Indy for the right person

Job description:

The LTL Pricing Analyst at TA Services will develop competitive pricing strategies, analyze transportation data, and support both customer and carrier contract negotiations. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, accounting, and IT to ensure effective pricing implementation and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare competitive LTL pricing proposals and collaborate with sales teams to meet opportunity goals

• Analyze and update RFPs for managed customers and partner carriers

• Maintain pricing contracts and perform account reviews to identify inefficiencies

• Create dashboards in PowerBI for customer presentations and QBRs

• Conduct linehaul and delivery analysis to improve consolidation network performance

• Report weekly fuel updates, expiring contracts, and ad hoc analyses for internal teams

• Support troubleshooting with the TMS superuser team and other departments

• Communicate and work well with both customers and carriers to ensure the best rates

    • Analyzing current customer network, fit with TA consolidation network, and developing customer pricing.
      
  • Identifying potential new TA consolidation locations based on current network and new opportunities.
    
  • Conduct LTL carrier RFPs on behalf of customers.
    
  • Yield analysis
    
    • Review current LTL Consolidation pricing agreements and provide suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas) and PowerBI

• Knowledge of LTL pricing and transportation; experience with TMS systems (e.g., MercuryGate) preferred

• Strong data analysis, communication, and negotiation skills

• Experience with logistics tools such as Truckstop, DAT, and McLeod
• Ability to manage multiple projects and translate complex data into clear insights
• Over 1 year of pricing analysis experience

• Bilingual highly preferred (Spanish)
