Experimental Economics

Reporting to the Director of the Experimental Economics Center, the Research Associate I, will provide administrative and operational support by assisting with the development, setup, and implementation of new systems and processes within the Experimental Economics Center Laboratory. Support the planning and execution of experimental sessions by preparing laboratory materials and equipment, coordinating participant logistics, monitoring session activities, and ensuring sessions run smoothly and efficiently. Maintain organized records, assist with troubleshooting basic technical or operational issues, and perform additional duties to support research and laboratory operations as needed

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Limited Term - Research Associate I are the following:

  • Assist the Director with administrative and day-to-day operational activities within the Experimental Economics Center Laboratory.
  • Support the development, organization, and implementation of new laboratory systems and procedures.
  • Monitor experimental sessions and provide on-site support to ensure they run effectively and in accordance with established procedures. Assist with resolving minor technical, equipment, or operational issues during laboratory sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation related to laboratory operations and research activities.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and research personnel to support laboratory goals and ongoing projects.
  • Perform additional administrative, research, and operational duties as assigned to support the laboratory''s overall success.

Qualifications

:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree and one year of work experience.
