JOB SUMMARY
The Student Worker – Learn to Skate & Administrative Assistant supports the operations and administration of Liberty University's Skating Teams Learn to Skate programming and the Club Sports department. This position assists with the organization, planning, communication, and on-site facilitation of Learn to Skate sessions while also providing administrative support to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Club Sports. The student worker serves as a liaison for program participants and coaches, helping ensure efficient program execution, quality customer service, and effective administrative support for Club Sports initiatives.

Work Environment
The working environment consists of both a climate-controlled office setting and an ice arena environment. The position requires attendance at Learn to Skate programming sessions, including weekday and weekend hours as needed. The office environment is well-lighted and the noise level is moderate. The rink environment may involve prolonged standing, increased noise levels, and interaction with participants, parents, coaches, and spectators. Occasional evening and weekend work is required based on program schedules and operational needs.
Driving Requirements
Driving is not typically required for the performance of this position. However, if travel becomes necessary in the performance of position responsibilities, the use of one's personal vehicle or a Liberty University vehicle may be required. Proof of a valid driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee's position.
