Position Summary: The Lube Technician is responsible for maintaining proper lubrication levels (oil/grease) on all production equipment. This role performs daily equipment checks, replenishes oil/grease as needed, supports filter servicing on production/loading equipment, and maintains a safe work environment by keeping equipment areas clean, dry, and free of oil, water, and debris. The Lube Technician also labels, maintains, and moves waste oil/water drums to designated holding areas and reports leaks for repair.
Essential Job Functions
Inspect production equipment daily for low oil/grease levels (visual and manual checks).
Add required oil/grease to production equipment as needed.
Keep areas around equipment clean, dry, and free of oil/debris to support a safe work environment.
Report oil/water/air leaks to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor for repair.
Label and maintain waste drums; transfer accumulated oil/water drums to designated holding areas.
Service filters for production and/or loading equipment as directed by the Maintenance Shift Supervisor.
Clean, wipe down, and maintain lubrication equipment daily.
Maintain required reserve quantities of grease and oil; reorder supplies as needed.
Support Maintenance with small repairs and service tasks as assigned (including weekends when needed).
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality to meet department needs.
Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, attend safety meetings, and report unsafe/hazardous conditions.
Work effectively as part of a team; communicate respectfully and accept/give feedback.
Take ownership and accountability for work; communicate status of tasks/projects.
Follow department quality standards and escalate concerns to the immediate manager.

Additional Responsibilities
Support facility maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Shift Manager.
Work overtime as needed and remain flexible for schedule changes based on business needs.
