Compensation: Tier 1 - Callback: $260/hr, 24 Hour Call: $925 per 24 hours, Night Call: $330/shift, Hourly: $165/hr. Tier 2  Callback: $270/hr, 24 Hour Call: $1040 per 24 hours, Night Call: $410/shift. Hourly: $180/hr.

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Cardiothoracic Surgery Coverage

Support the Cardiothoracic Surgery / Heart Team

Perform Pre-Operative Physical Examinations

Assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Perform Inpatient Rounding

Coordinate Patient Care

Diagnose and Treat Illnesses

Order and Interpret Diagnostic Tests

Prescribe Medications

Perform Suture Removal

Perform Chest Tube Insertions

Perform Endoscopic Retrieval

Clinical Environment / Support

Inpatient Hospital-Based Practice

Level II Trauma Center

Epic EMR

Requirements

Board Certified Physician Assistant - Required

Active Pennsylvania Physician Assistant License - Required

Candidates Requiring Pennsylvania Licensure Will Not Be Considered

ACLS - Required

BLS - Required

Minimum of 3 Years of Cardiothoracic Surgery Experience - Required

New Graduates Not Accepted

Must Be Experienced Supporting the Heart Team in Surgery

Local Candidates Only - Required

Clean Background - Required, No Exceptions
