Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the Nashville area.
Promote and sell a wide range of lumber and building materials to contractors, builders, and other industry professionals.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and expand market share.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers.
Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales within the lumber and building materials industry.
Strong knowledge of lumber products, building materials, and construction practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the designated territory.
