Lumber Material Handler

Material Handler (Entry Level)Join Our TeamWe are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will help move, organize, and transport building materials throughout our facility to support efficient production operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in manufacturing and operations. Training is provided.What You'll Do

Load, unload, move, stack, and organize raw materials and finished products.Safely lift, carry, and transport materials throughout the facility.Operate material handling equipment, including motorized and non-motorized equipment (training provided as needed).Maintain the flow of materials to ensure production processes run efficiently.Follow established work instructions and learn best practices from supervisors and experienced team members.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.Strong attention to safety and detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude.Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience is a plus, but not required.

Required Skills & Abilities

Ability to safely operate or learn to operate material handling equipment.Strong manual dexterity and coordination.Understanding of workplace safety practices.Ability to use good judgment and follow established procedures.Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Occasionally lift and carry up to 80 pounds.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and climb as needed throughout the shift.Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, machinery, and other manufacturing conditions.
