Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable Lumber Yard Associate to join our team in South Milford, Indiana. This position involves hands-on work in an industrial wood processing environment, visually grading, sorting, and stacking lumber. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain good attendance.
Responsibilities:
Visually inspect and grade lumber for quality
Sort and stack lumber according to specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and yard guidelines
Work efficiently as part of a team
Requirements:
Good attendance and punctuality are a must
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift
Attention to detail for visual grading
Prior lumber yard or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
