Lumber Yard Worker

The Lumber Yard Worker and Driver is responsible for providing excellent customer service while safely loading a customer’s vehicle with products purchased from Ace Hardware. The products should be loaded safely and efficiently while being a positive representative of Bolster’s Ace Hardware.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned by management.

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks and verifying that the paperwork is accurate and complete.
• Keeping the Work Yard clean and safe from hazards.
• Greet customers throughout the store and Yard.
• Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.
• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor, work well with customers as well as associates.
• Operate forklift with proper training and certification.
• Assist in creating a positive, professional, and safe working environment.
• Possess a strong knowledge of the yard inventory and location.
• Assist customers throughout the location providing customized service with the intention of amazing every customer every time.

Physical Demands

• Lifting weights up to 90 lbs.
• Working in climates
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time.
• Bending and climbing
