Lunch/Recess Supervisor

Belleville Elementary is seeking a caring, reliable, and energetic individual to join our team as a Lunchroom and Recess Supervisor. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for students during lunch and recess. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and values contributing to a positive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor student behavior in the cafeteria and playground areas

• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students

• Assist students with opening lunch items and cleaning up after meals

• Promote and model positive social interactions and conflict resolution

• Respond appropriately to incidents and report concerns to school staff

• Supervise transitions to and from lunch/recess

Qualifications:

• Enjoys working with elementary-aged children

• Dependable, punctual, and patient

• Able to remain calm and attentive in a busy environment

• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but not required

• Ability to pass a background check and any required district clearances
