Location: Austin, TX -- field-based position requiring regular travel to active project sites throughout Austin, Lake Travis, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, and nearby Hill Country communities.

We are seeking an experienced Luxury Residential Construction Superintendent to lead the daily field execution of high-end custom homes from construction start through occupancy. You will coordinate trade partners, materials, inspections, schedules, quality, safety, and jobsite conditions while maintaining clear communication with clients and the internal project team. This position requires someone who can take ownership of a custom home, solve problems proactively, and uphold an uncompromising standard of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage luxury custom home construction from the field start through completion and occupancy.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Direct trade partners, vendors, deliveries, and day-to-day jobsite activities.
• Verify that work is completed according to plans, specifications, applicable codes, and company standards.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, security, and safe working conditions.
• Conduct quality-control inspections daily, and daily address and post incomplete or deficient work to the affected party's punchlist.
• Coordinate municipal, engineering, and third-party inspections.
• Confirm that trade partners are working from current plans, scopes, and change orders.
• Communicate progress, upcoming activities, and field concerns to the project team.
• Assist with material receiving, credits, returns, and purchase-order verification.
• Maintain professional, responsive communication with clients throughout construction.
• Manage punch-list work and support an organized, high-quality project closeout.
• Post Daily Logs and Progress Photos daily.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of custom home construction experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a quality custom home from start to finish.
• Thorough understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing, and materials.
• Working knowledge of the International Residential Code and applicable safety practices.
• Strong scheduling, documentation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, trade partners, vendors, and colleagues.
• Four-year degree in construction management or a related discipline preferred.
• Buildertrend or similar construction-management software experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for regular travel between project sites. This position also requires access to a vehicle capable of transporting occasional small construction materials and supplies. Business mileage is reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 employment.
• Pay: $115,000 - $150,000 annually. Placement within the range depends on directly relevant luxury residential construction experience, demonstrated leadership and technical capabilities, and the size and complexity of projects previously managed.
