Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced NACE Level III (AMPP CIP Level 3) Coating Inspector to oversee coating inspection activities, provide technical leadership, and ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The successful candidate will serve as the subject matter expert for protective coatings, corrosion prevention, and quality assurance while supporting clients across multiple industries.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Current AMPP Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 3 Certification (formerly NACE Level III).
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 7+ years of industrial coating inspection experience.
Extensive knowledge of corrosion prevention and protective coating systems.
Strong understanding of:
SSPC Standards
ASTM Standards
ISO Standards
AMPP/NACE Standards
Surface preparation methods
Industrial coating application processes
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and coating procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass required background screening and drug/alcohol testing.
