JOB SUMMARY Facilitate the operative or other invasive procedure by preparing and providing the required sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment and maintains the sterile field while anticipating and responding to the needs of the surgical team. CSTs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, improvement initiatives, and continued education.
