Unit: 20-bed secured neurobehavioral rehab; Alzheimer’s/dementia with behavioral disturbances
Ratio: 1:20
Experience: 2+ years; 1st-time travelers accepted
EMR: EPIC
Float: Required per facility need
Weekend: Every other weekend
Local Rule: >75 miles
Required: BLS
Key Skills: Behavioral management, de-escalation, assaultive behavior management, SNF/LTC, glucose monitoring, I&O, isolation precautions, vitals
Orientation: Day shift during first week
Focus: Behavioral stabilization, medication management, daily routines & discharge planning
Restrictions: No patients requiring oxygen, IV therapy, feeding tubes, lines/ports/drains, insulin pumps, catheters or nephrostomy tubes.
