LVN (Home Health)

Performs procedures which require specialized training for general nursing care and related services for assigned patients, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (Client), in accordance with established policy. Participates in the planning for and provision of patient care. Uses knowledge of asepsis in performance of treatments, such as sterile dressings, irritations and cauterizations. Provides functional direction to ancillary personnel. On call duties will be assigned based on location and agency operational needs. If assigned by agency leadership, incumbent is required to perform on call duties.
