Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $51.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Evening 5x8 Hours, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM (1500 2300); Every Other Weekend required; Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a Nursing Facility / Nursing Home setting
• Apply Behavior Management Techniques
• Care for patients with Degenerative Disorders (Alzheimer's, ALS, Parkinson's)
• Obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Float within skillset as required

Required Skills

• Nursing Facility / Nursing Home experience is required
• Behavior Management Techniques
• Degenerative Disorders (Alzheimer's, ALS, Parkinson's)
• Obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
• EPIC charting experience required
• Submit RTO, Block, and Special Scheduling Requests upon submission

Education Requirements

• Active New York Single State LPN license required (NY is not a Compact state; pending license not accepted)
• BLS certification required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Unit: Nursing Facility / Nursing Home
• Patient Ratio: 1:10
• Floating required within skillset
• Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• Call-Off Policy: The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours
• Locals accepted for LPNs at a reduced rate
• First-time travelers accepted
