Job Title: LVN / LPN – Rehabilitation
Location: Syracuse, NY
Type: Contract – 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12-Hour Shifts/Week | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Some Holidays
Pay Rate: $45 - $50/hr

Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced LPN/LVN to provide patient care in medical/surgical and rehabilitation settings. Unit placement will be based on the candidate’s previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to established care plans.

• Obtain and document vital signs and monitor patient progress.

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers with examinations and clinical procedures.

• Prepare patients and examination rooms for procedures.

• Administer injections as permitted by licensure.

• Observe, document, and report patient conditions and treatment responses.

• Assist with nursing unit and patient-care activities.

• Support clinical and administrative functions as required.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.

Required Qualifications

• Nursing education from an accredited program appropriate for LPN/LVN licensure.

• Current and active New York State LPN/LVN license.

• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain/re-certify as required.

• Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience.

• Inpatient, acute care, medical/surgical, or rehabilitation experience preferred.

• EMR experience preferred.

• Ability to provide patient care with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work every other weekend and some holidays.

• Strong clinical, communication, observation, and documentation skills.
